SÃO MARTINHO
São Martinho do Porto is a beautiful coastal village located in the municipality of Alcobaça, in the west-central region of Portugal. The village is situated on a natural bay, which forms a shell-shaped beach that is sheltered from the ocean, making it a popular destination for swimming and water sports.
The beach is lined with palm trees and a boardwalk, where visitors can take a leisurely stroll while enjoying views of the sea. The village itself is small and charming, with whitewashed houses and narrow streets that wind their way up the hillside.
One of the most notable features of São Martinho is its large, horseshoe-shaped bay, which is protected from the open ocean by cliffs on either side. This makes it an ideal location for swimming and other water activities, especially for families with children.
